12.1 Hirschmann Product Families — Overview

The previous chapters covered the industrial protocols that run on Hirschmann switches: PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, HSR/PRP, TSN, and MRP. This chapter introduces the product families that implement those protocols, and points to Part 6 where each family is covered in depth with real specifications, order codes, and selection guidance.
